Wren is hosting what is quickly becoming an annual tradition for the downtown restaurant, an oyster roast in their rear lot on Port Republic Street.
From 5 to 8 p.m on Friday, November 5, the "Party in the Parking Lot" will go and they'll be dishing up oysters (and hot dogs and chili for you non seafood eaters) -- for you beer folk they'll have a beer tasting by the folks at Thomas Creek out of Greenville, tastings will be free and pints a $3 bargain. $12 per bucket of oysters.
Oh, and though the weather forecast is due to be chilly this weekend, thankfully during the time of this event the weather will be well above the night's low of 39 degrees, look for temperatures in the 58-to-50 degree range.
Wren is at 210 Carteret Street in downtown Beaufort.
