Pam Hartley will co-host 105.5 The Bridge's morning show on Monday, July 16, dubbed Momentum Monday Morning, to feature 16 giveaways from local businesses and events including $250 gift certificates, PGA tickets, Charleston Fashion Week tickets and more.
Pam Hartley, founder and agency principal of Momentum Marketing, announced today she will co-host the Bridge 105.5 FM morning show on Monday, July 16, 2012 from 6 to 10 a.m. alongside Lauren Duran, veteran morning deejay on the station. As a guest co-host, Hartley was given the freedom to ‘create her own show.’ The result is Momentum Monday Morning, a one-time four hour morning show featuring Bridge music, live interviews and prize giveaways from 16 of Hartley’s favorite Charleston area businesses and community events.
“I want to make this a fun morning for the listeners,” said Hartley. “It’s probably going to be my only morning deejay gig in this lifetime, so I thought it was a great opportunity for me to share some of my favorite local retail stores, restaurants, services and community events with Bridge listeners. We added a listen-to-win twist so everyone who listens that morning has a chance to win one of 16 prize packages from each guest. How great is that?”
The invitation came as a result of Mike Allen’s departure from the station on June 30th. Allen left the popular radio morning show slot for a position at WWNU The Palm 92.1 FM in Columbia. Station management opted to bring in local guest hosts for two weeks in July as they search for Allen’s replacement, and Hartley was on that short list.
Hartley’s action packed morning features interviews and giveaways of $250 gift certificates from Wonder Works, Palmetto Moon, Affordables, Butterfly Consignments, The Coastal Cupboard, Piggly Wiggly, Croghan’s Jewel Box, Charleston Children’s Boutique and Celadon. Listeners will also be able to call in to win four weeks of house cleaning from Niddy Griddy, dinner for four at Halls Chophouse, Wingfest for six at Kickin’ Chicken, two tickets to the PGA Golf Championship Finals on Kiawah with hospitality access and parking courtesy of Baker Motor Company, four VIP tickets to the Charleston Fashion Week finale runway show and after party, a weekend test drive of a 2012 GMC Acadia from Baker Buick GMC Cadillac and two tickets to three Charleston Food and Wine signature events.
Hartley added, “My ultimate outcome is to share what I love about each business or event featured… from service approach, to merchandise, community commitment and more. There are so many wonderful local businesses and events making a difference here in the Lowcountry. I’m so excited to have the privilege to celebrate each one and give back to the listeners of the radio station simultaneously. I can’t wait!”
