Charleston’s very own “Greens Goddess” hits the stage again August 14 and 15 with an all vegetarian celebration of “peas and wine” (it just happens to coincide with Woodstock’s 44th anniversary). The evenings begin with a reception of family style platters in the courtyard, followed by a three-course dinner with pairings in the Vintner’s Room.
Among the featured players of this festival of flavors: Corn Pudding Tamales, Zucchini Pad Thai, Tomato Tartare, herb potato gnocchi. Dessert is a white chocolate and peach ice cream bombe.
